Steve Bicking is a Senior Engineer for HR Green’s Transportation Business Line.

Steve specializes in hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and conformance with floodplain and stormwater regulations. He is well-versed in the use of all drainage computer modeling programs and has earned an outstanding reputation in drainage and stormwater management. He has extensive experience with more detailed studies, including floodplain delineation studies, storm sewer/detention pond design, regional stormwater facility planning, bridge/culvert hydraulic analysis, compensatory storage calculations/design, and hydraulic/hydrologic modeling of streams and rivers.

Steve has worked closely with the IDNR-OWR and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) on mapping and permitting issues involving both floodplain and floodway. He is a Certified Stormwater Engineer Review Specialist for Kane County, an Enforcement Officer in Lake County, and a member of the Lake County MAC. He is Chairman of the McHenry County Stormwater Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) and was on the Kendall County Stormwater TAC.
