Jim RasmussenPE

James R. Rasmussen, PE, is a Senior Advisor for HR Green’s Water Business Line. With extensive experience in the water and wastewater industries, he leads multi-discipline projects and teams to deliver designs efficiently to clients.

Jim has managed several multi-year wastewater treatment plant projects from study to facility plan, design, bidding, construction, and start-up. His leadership and knack for communication make him highly adept at building teamwork during these crucial project phases. In addition, Jim directs project-related public involvement efforts for clients.

Jim earned his Master of Science in Environmental Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, both from South Dakota State University. He has participated in the Iowa Water Environment Association on several committees and as Past President, American Society of Civil Engineers, Water Environmental Federation, and American Water Works Association.
