Michelle Byard Elected to Green Companies Inc. Board of Directors

HR Green, Inc. (HR Green) announced that their Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Michelle A. Byard, has been elected to the Board of Directors of their holding company, Green Companies, Inc. (GCI).

Michelle Byard joined HR Green’s leadership team in late 2009 as Controller before being promoted to CFO in 2013. Michelle leads Finance & Accounting, Legal, and Risk Management for HR Green. She also assists with the oversight of GCI Development, which houses their Windsor Manor Assisted Living Facilities. Currently, she serves on HR Green’s Audit Committee, 401(k) Committee, and the Board of their Captive Insurance Company, Golden Rule.

Since joining HR Green, Michelle has integrated the accounting systems and practices of GCI’s acquired firms, revamped the legal/insurance department, streamlined accounting functions, and updated financial tools. She supports staff, clients, and business lines with a proactive approach to propel success in all areas. Her experience includes public accounting, retail/wholesale, real estate, transportation and telecommunications.
