Joe Frankl, PE, is a Project Manager for Water/Wastewater in the Des Moines office.
Joe’s experience includes wastewater treatment systems, wastewater collection, major lift station systems, equalization and peak flow treatment analysis, bolted steel tanks, concrete tanks, lagoons, stormwater pumping and conveyance, flood and erosion control, and drinking water distribution. Involvement in these projects has included preliminary design reports, final design and permitting, bidding, and construction administration and observation. Joe coordinates with all internal sub-disciplines and leads the team in providing full-scale engineering services. Joe’s adept project management ensures seamless coordination among internal disciplines, reflecting his pivotal role in integrating comprehensive engineering services for projects involving wastewater plants and complex infrastructure improvements.
Joe earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering from South Dakota State University. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and a member of the Chi Epsilon Civil Engineering Honor Society, Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society, Water Environment Federation, and the Iowa Water Environment Association.
