PJ Fitzpatrick Appointed Vice Chair of ACEC National PAC Committee
HR Green proudly congratulates PJ Fitzpatrick, PE, HR Green’s Central and Midwest Regional Business Development Leader, on his appointment as Vice Chair of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) National PAC Board. This prestigious role places him at the forefront of national advocacy for the consulting engineering industry.
The ACEC National PAC plays a vital role in supporting policies that drive infrastructure investment and strengthen the business environment for engineering firms.
“I am tremendously honored and humbled to receive this appointment to the ACEC National PAC Board,” said PJ. “As my tenure and leadership on the ACEC Illinois Board is coming to a close, I look forward to continued dialogue, focusing on advocacy for the consulting engineering community, and promoting the business of engineering at the national level.”
PJ has been an active leader within ACEC Illinois, serving on its Board of Directors in various leadership capacities since 2016. Notable achievements during this time include the Lockbox Amendment, which safeguards transportation funds for their intended purpose, and the Rebuild Illinois capital program—a $45 billion investment with $33.2 allocated to transportation—aimed at improving the state’s roads, bridges, and infrastructure. More recently, efforts have been centered on workforce development advocacy, exploring new strategies to build and strengthen Illinois’ workforce.
As his term on the Illinois Board concludes in June, PJ is eager to expand his impact at the national level. As Vice Chair, PJ will help guide ACEC’s advocacy efforts, strengthening the voice of engineering firms in national policymaking.
