HR Green was responsible for the design of the Grand Parkway Toll Road with frontage roads, including roadway, storm sewers, cross culverts, retaining walls, traffic control, cross street intersection, and SWPPP design. Responsibilities also included bid packaging of plans for all three sections of Section 2 that included 8-miles of suburban toll road, eight intersections, and two major creek crossings. In order to use stimulus funding available through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), an aggressive design schedule was adhered to and successfully implemented. Coordination through the construction phase allowed for expedited construction of the Grand Parkway Toll Road project.
