HR Green’s traffic services team helps our clients improve transportation infrastructure and traffic operations systems that support transit and emergency service and other modes of transportation.
We provide a full range of traffic operations services from traffic impact studies, corridor studies, traffic signal studies and design, traffic safety evaluations, road safety audits and access management plans to traffic operations models, urban interchange and intersection design, roundabout design, implementation of the Safe Routes to School Program and funding applications for a variety of traffic improvement projects.
In collaboration with our geometric engineers, we can tackle both the complex urban environment and the rural setting; thus developing cost effective solutions for interchanges, rural expressway intersections, arterial intersections or county roads involving multi-lane intersections and roundabouts. During collaboration, we identify the safety or operational elements of concern and implement innovative geometric or technologic solutions to remedy them.

Route 47/61 Interchange Study
A US Highway 61 and Missouri Route 47 interchange study was completed to identify congestion mitigation measures to improve the interchange operations.
IL 19 at Wood Dale Road Intersection Reconstruction
