Zaki Ali, PE, has joined HR Green’s Aurora office as a Senior Engineer for the Water and Wastewater practice.

With over 17 years of civil engineering experience, Zaki has served as structural lead for a variety of industrial and infrastructure projects including coal and gas power generation facilities, nuclear power generating facilities, oil refineries, and water/wastewater treatment plants. His experience also includes structural steel and masonry buildings, concrete foundation tanks and containment, pipe supports, equipment support framing, and connection design.

In this role, Zaki Ali will provide structural engineering design for building and internal process structures for water and wastewater facilities, and he will serve as a structural engineer of record across multiple groups within the Water business unit.

Zaki earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago, as well as a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology at Chicago. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
