HR Green welcomes Shailaja (Shaila) Avatapalli, PE, PTOE, CFM, as a Municipal Services Manager for Governmental Services based in the Colleyville, Texas office.

Shaila has more than 21 years of experience in Traffic Engineering and Transportation Planning, including Traffic Impact Studies, Corridor Studies and Signal Timing Optimization, Safety Studies, Interchange Justification/Modification Studies, Site Access Analysis, Traffic Volume Projections, Roundabout Analysis, Micro and Macro traffic simulation modeling, and private development plan reviews.

In this role, Shaila will facilitate the successful and safe development of municipalities in and around Texas.

Shaila earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Osmania University (Hyderabad, India) and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Ohio University (Athens, OH). She is a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) and the TexITE Dallas Section.
