Shailaja (Shaila) Avatapalli is a Municipal Services Manager for HR Green’s Governmental Services practice.
She has extensive experience in Traffic Engineering and Transportation Planning, including Traffic Impact Studies, Corridor Studies and Signal Timing Optimization, Safety Studies, Interchange Justification/Modification Studies, Site Access Analysis, Traffic Volume Projections, Roundabout Analysis, Micro and Macro traffic simulation modeling, and private development plan reviews.
Shaila earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Osmania University (Hyderabad, India) and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Ohio University (Athens, OH). She is a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) and the TexITE Dallas Section.
