HR Green Selected to Support $200M West Airfield Program at St. Louis Lambert International Airport
HR Green, in partnership with Kwame Building Group, has been selected to provide construction management services for the West Airfield Program at St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL). This multi-phase initiative will modernize critical airport infrastructure and improve operations across the airfield, with a total investment of approximately $200 million.
The program includes the relocation and construction of a new Airfield Maintenance and Snow Removal Equipment (AFM/SRE) campus, demolition of the existing airfield maintenance complex, and the development of a new West Deicing Pad and associated taxiway improvements. In all, the program will add more than 260,000 square feet of building space and include specialized systems such as deicer storage, fueling stations, and new roadway and utility infrastructure.
HR Green’s responsibilities will span a wide range of construction oversight services, including on-site monitoring, cost and quality control, LEED coordination, and close collaboration with airport stakeholders, security operations, and TSA.
The project is expected to break ground in Fall 2025, with full completion slated for the end of 2028. We are proud to continue our strong partnership with STL Airport, delivering innovative and collaborative solutions that will help shape the airport’s future growth and success.
