About the Award Winning Projects
The Clock Tower Plaza is an anchor project that will serve to initiate redevelopment opportunities for the downtown commercial district of the City of Wood Dale. Key features of the project included upgrading and enhancing the existing land use, creating an iconic City Center, landmark and identity, and invoking and creating a sense of civic pride.
The new $30 million, 85,000 square foot Will County Public Safety Complex accommodates all divisions of the sheriff’s offices including the consolidated 911 Dispatch Center. HR Green provided the design for the water and sewer utilities extension which included a sanitary sewer lift station, the civil and landscaping site design, ALTA Survey, public utility easement document preparation, and permitting services for the site design components.
The $19 million LITH Water Main Replacement Program began in 1999 when aging water mains were earmarked for replacement. This 17-year program resulted in LITH completing the project with no outstanding debt, water rates in line with rates of surrounding communities, and all the watermains in their entire system less than 25 years of age.
