Green Companies, Inc. (parent of the HR Green family of companies) has acquired Gauge Engineering (Gauge) a full-service, Houston-based engineering firm that specializes in transportation and drainage engineering analysis, design, and construction management services to public sector clients.
Gauge was co-founded by Derek St. John, PE, CFM, and Muhammad Ali, PE, ENV SP. The firm is recognized as a leader in finding solutions to difficult drainage and mobility problems and has extensive experience working in urbanized areas and retrofitting existing infrastructure. Additionally, they assist municipal clients with developing and managing multi-million-dollar capital improvement plans while overseeing infrastructure projects in some of Houston’s most congested districts, such as Memorial City, Montrose, and Harrisburg.
HR Green has been part of the Houston market since 1978, and this merger of talent and resources allows both organizations to provide a broader range of services to our clients while maintaining the same personal level of service.
