HR Green welcomes Sandra Smith as a Project Manager for Fiber + Broadband based in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa office.

Sandra has over 25 years of experience in project management, engineering oversight, and architectural design. She has been working in the fiber industry for the last 11 years and comes to HR Green with a diverse background of project experience ranging in scale from single building connections, city-wide small cell programs, FTTH (Fiber to the Home) broadband expansion, and managing over 2,000 fiber ring miles.

In this role, Sandra will manage technical staff to meet the firm’s quality standards for planning, study, and design projects within the Midwest region. As Project Manager, she will work directly with clients to assess financial costs and feasibility while driving approved projects through the design and build phases.

Sandra earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is a member of the Illinois State Wireless Association, Nebraska – Iowa Wireless Association, and Cedar Rapids Historic Preservation Commission – Mayor Appointed.
