Mark Kuss serves as Chief Financial Officer at HR Green, where he leads the company’s Finance organization and helps guide financial strategy, planning, reporting, and operational performance across the firm. With more than 30 years of financial, operational, and executive leadership experience, Mark brings deep expertise in supporting growth-oriented professional services organizations.
Prior to joining HR Green, Mark held executive leadership roles including Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Bury, as well as Chief Financial Officer at Trinity Consultants. Throughout his career, he has led financial planning and analysis, strategic planning initiatives, systems implementations, and the development of high-performing finance organizations that support long-term business success.
Mark’s connection to HR Green began before joining the company, having served on the Board of Directors from 2022 to 2024, including as Chair of the Audit and Risk Management Committee. This experience provided valuable insight into the firm’s operations, culture, and strategic priorities.
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Mark holds a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University. His leadership approach focuses on financial stewardship, operational excellence, and partnering across the organization to support sustainable growth and informed decision-making.
