Karam Qaddo, PE, is an Area Manager for HR Green’s Transportation Business Unit.
Karam Qaddo brings over 20 years of engineering experience in the municipal infrastructure industry, with extensive design production experience in roadway, utilities, and drainage projects. He has a proven track record of successfully delivering urban renewal projects within tight deadlines while maintaining quality. He also understands the challenges of complete street design and how to account for most modes of transportation in tight rights-of-way when working in urban areas.
His technical capabilities include roadway design, public utilities design, storm drainage, water and sanitary sewer improvements, traffic control plans, pedestrian and bicycle facility design, complete street design, urban renewal project delivery, federal funding compliance, and coordination with TxDOT and local municipalities.
Karam is a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas and holds a TxDOT Local Government Project Procedures (LGPP) Qualification. He also holds TxDOT Pre-Certifications in Route Studies/Schematics, Roadway Design, and Signing, Pavement Marking and Channelization. Karam holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Technology in Baghdad, Iraq.
