Eli Sanchez is the Southwest Design Lead for HR Green’s Broadband Business Unit.
He leads the Southwest broadband team and manages projects including fiber-to-the-home/business (FTTH), greenfield deployments, middle-mile networks, ROW and DOT permitting, field data collection, pole attachment and make-ready engineering, and asset relocation.
Eli manages project budgets, schedules, and resources while partnering closely with clients to deliver accurate, cost-effective solutions. He brings more than six years of experience in outside plant (OSP) FTTH engineering, including leadership of turnkey fiber network projects across multiple states. His work includes delivering infrastructure for more than 101,000 households and 735 miles of network, as well as managing permitting and make-ready efforts for over 36,000 poles.
He is experienced in both overhead and underground fiber design, including aerial strand and lash, directional boring, trenching, plowing, and micro-trenching. Eli also leads the production and quality assurance of construction documents, including CAD and GIS mapping, bill of materials, and splice matrices.
Proficient in ArcGIS, 3-GIS, Vetro Fibermap, Katapult, QGIS, and AutoCAD, Eli leverages GIS as a primary platform for design and analysis. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Geographic Information Science (GIS) from Texas State University and brings a strong, data-driven approach to broadband planning and design.
