Brian Stahl is the Regional Director for Florida’s Water and Wastewater practice.

Brian Stahl brings more than 35 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering. He has an extensive background in managing engineering planning, funding coordination, design, permitting, and construction services for public works projects, supporting more than 70 continuing services contracts for local governments.

Brian’s experience spans the full project lifecycle, from master planning and hydraulic modeling to regulatory coordination and construction-phase support, delivering high-quality, dependable solutions for municipal clients throughout Florida. He is known for his collaborative approach, technical leadership, and commitment to project success.

His technical capabilities include water and wastewater treatment facility planning and design, biological nutrient removal (BNR) and membrane bioreactor (MBR) systems, biosolids management, reclaimed water systems, hydraulic modeling using WaterGEMS and SewerGEMS, capital improvement planning, grant funding coordination, quality assurance/quality control, and construction administration.

Brian holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Oceanography from Florida Institute of Technology, along with an Associate of Science in Mechanical Engineering from St. Louis Community College. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Florida and holds an NCEES Record. Brian is an active member of the American Council of Engineering Companies, the Florida Water Environment Association (including past service as Statewide Biosolids Committee Chairman), the American Water Works Association, and the Water Environment Federation.
