Brett Johnson is a Lead Engineer for Minnesota Transportation.

Brett brings experience across municipal, traffic, and transportation projects, including roundabouts, interchanges, and pedestrian and trail facilities. His work spans highway design, OpenRoads CAD production, plan and specification development, survey field assistance, and comprehensive highway design elements such as alignments, profiles, corridor and 3D modeling, earthwork, cross sections, quantity calculations, plan sheet production, and storm sewer design. Supported by degrees in Civil Engineering and Physics (with a minor in mathematics), Brett applies a multidisciplinary perspective to problem-solving and delivers sustainable transportation solutions that positively impact communities.

Brett holds a BCE in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a BA in Physics from Gustavus Adolphus College. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
