Beth Jay is a Building & Code Manager for California Municipal Services.
With extensive experience in building and safety services, Beth brings a strong background in plan review, code compliance, field inspection, and multi-jurisdictional coordination. In her role as Building & Code Manager, she manages operations, overseeing commercial, residential, and photovoltaic plan reviews while coordinating assignments, turnaround times, electronic plan check systems, invoicing, and service documentation for multiple cities and counties.
Beth’s experience includes plan checking for tenant improvements, remodels, additions, new construction, solar panel systems, and wireless telecommunication facilities, with a focus on accessibility, energy, green building, and California code requirements. She also supports field inspections for single-family, multifamily, and commercial buildings and works closely with clients, engineers, applicants, and agency staff to promote code awareness, resolve questions, address concerns, and support safe, compliant development from plan review through construction.
Beth Jay earned her B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
