The L27 Lift Station replaced an existing, aging facility in Hopkins, Minnesota, which was over 40 years old, had significant condition issues, and lacked redundancy. In addition, the existing lift station was undersized with little storage.

The Trout Brook Nature Sanctuary and Regional Trail, which was developed on a 42-acre urban brownfield site in Saint Paul. The project’s key design feature was the re-creation of approximately 3,000 feet of the Trout Brook after decades of confinement within an underground storm tunnel (the Trout Brook Interceptor).

In the spring of 2015, portions of the City of Liberty flooded, revealing extensive problems with infiltration and inflow in the City’s collection system. The City had struggled to address needs and develop plans for the maintenance of their sanitary sewer collection system, and they sought a cost-effective way to identify problem locations and help in planning future operations and maintenance work.

HR Green has been chosen by the City of Nevada, Iowa to complete the planning, design, and bidding of four projects in its 2017 Capital Improvements Plan (CIP). The projects include street reconstruction, which also includes water main, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer reconstruction improvements; an asphalt resurfacing over cracked and seated PCC pavement project; a lift station study and design project; and the installation of storm collector lines at various locations in the City.

Liberty, Texas has picked HR Green to undertake a wastewater collection system evaluation resulting in a preliminary engineering report (PER). The collection system in Liberty was inundated this past Spring (2015) due to frequent intense rainfall and subsequent flooding of the Trinity River.
