The APWA Chicago Metro Chapter has selected HR Green, Inc. (HR Green) as the recipient of two 2018 Project of the Year Awards with work done for the City of Elgin, IL and the Village of Carpentersville, IL. For projects Less than $5 Million, the Village of Carpentersville’s “Carpenter Creek Stream Restoration” project was honored.

HR Green, Inc. (HR Green) has received two Engineering Excellence Awards from the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Illinois. The awards competition recognizes projects of engineering achievement by Illinois consulting engineering firms. Entries are judged on the basis of engineering excellence, the degree to which the client’s needs are met, and the benefits to the public welfare.

Since 2003, DiscoverE has presented this award to honor the work of up-and-coming engineers who are making their mark on their industry. This award is recognized as a top honor for young engineers by their peers in the engineering community.
