HR Green worked with Goodwin Knight to develop Home Place Ranch Community in Monument, Colorado, as a phased, age-targeted, residential development. The 440-acre subdivision consists of multiple phases. Phase 1 is approximately 130 acres with 236 single-family lots and 64 cluster units.

HR Green prepared 3-D renderings to give a visual representation of the proposed amenity center. These exhibits displayed photorealistic graphics to show spatial relationships, style, and unique proposed characteristics. The renderings show the proposed deck layout, seating areas, active areas, special paving, and landscape plantings. To demonstrate the design intent to take full advantage of the stunning views of Pikes Peak and the Front Range, a real photograph of the views was utilized in the representation.

The Home Place Ranch design has a mix of single-family detached residential lot sizes, focusing on age-targeted product offerings. The community will include a cohesive trail network, and plentiful open space. Trails connect the community to a habitat preservation area and trail network that will connect the entire community. The community has other important amenities such as parks, a recreation center, and amazing views of Colorado’s renowned Pike’s Peak, the Air Force Academy, and the Town of Monument. The community’s location and scenery make it very desirable among the region. HR Green provided all of the planning, entitlements/project approvals, engineering, and landscape design for the entire project.
