Rollin’ into Nola! HR Green’s Des Moines office, along with friends and family, had a great time helping the City of Indianola host bike riders during RAGBRAI!

RAGBRAI (Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa) is a non-competitive, 7-day bicycle ride organized by The Des Moines Register, which goes across the state of Iowa from west to east, that draws recreational riders from across the United States and many foreign countries. First held in 1973, RAGBRAI is the largest bike-touring event in the world.

Host communities, like Indianola, organize campsites, vendors, musical entertainment, and residents even open their homes for bikers to stay for the night. With thousands of volunteers participating along the route, our Midwest hospitality is a big part of what makes this event fun and successful year after year!
