
HR Green is pleased to announce that Wentao Dai has joined the firm’s Houston office as a Lead Engineer for the Water and Wastewater Practice.
Wentao has over 15 years of experience in structural, geotechnical, and project management on various types of industrial and residential structures. He has recognized experience in structural engineering, with extensive experience in structural designing and analyzing LNG terminals, nuclear power plants, offshore platforms, and refineries.
He has a comprehensive background in structural forensic engineering and integrity management, including conducting inspections, evaluations, and reporting.
In this role, Wentao will be responsible for structural engineering design of buildings and internal process structures for water and wastewater facilities, while also serving as the structural engineer of record for multiple teams within the Water group.

Wentao holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. He also earned both his M.Sc. and B.E. degrees in Civil Engineering from Tongji University in Shanghai, China. He is a member of ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers).
