HR Green is pleased to announce that Matt Golden has joined the firm’s Colorado Springs office as an Area Manager for Colorado Construction.

Matt has more than 26 years of experience leading transportation construction management efforts for complex roadway, bridge, drainage, resurfacing, and multimodal infrastructure projects across Colorado. He has a proven track record of directing CM/CI operations, driving regional business growth, leading high-performing multidisciplinary teams, and building long-term relationships with CDOT, municipalities, counties, and other public agencies.

Matt will lead construction management and inspection operations across HR Green’s Colorado construction portfolio, directing CM/CI teams on transportation, roadway, bridge, drainage, and resurfacing projects for CDOT, counties, municipalities, and other public agency partners. He will serve as a primary point of contact for clients in the Colorado Springs region and statewide, overseeing the safe, on schedule, cost effective delivery of projects in compliance with agency standards. He will also support regional business development, drawing on more than two decades of field experience and long-standing agency relationships to grow HR Green’s construction presence throughout Colorado.

Matt studied Construction Management at Colorado State University, where he also served as a teaching assistant in the Department of Construction Management—helping create the program’s first asphalt laboratory and developing the curriculum and laboratory manual for a course in asphalt mix design. He holds numerous industry certifications across WAQTC, ACI, CAPA, TECS, TCS, and OSHA, and he stays engaged in the professional community through participation in ACEC and CMAA events.
