HR Green is pleased to announce that Kevin Pepler has joined the firm as a Senior Electrical Engineer for the Iowa Water and Wastewater Practice.
Kevin has 25 years of experience delivering SCADA master planning, control systems design, and construction-phase engineering, with 12 years for water and wastewater facilities. He has designed small upgrades to large, multi-site projects for medium and large municipalities. He has extensive experience in industrial automation, including PLC and HMI programming for water treatment, pharmaceutical, energy, manufacturing, and solar PV applications. His technical background includes the design and programming of advanced thin-film deposition and vacuum systems with multi-axis servo motion control, high-speed networking, and integrated databases.
In this role, Kevin will provide design and technical leadership for municipal and industrial water and wastewater facilities. He will lead the design of I&C, SCADA, and communication systems, make key engineering decisions, and ensure quality and performance across complex projects. He will also collaborate closely with project managers, mentor engineering staff, and engage directly with clients and contractors.

“I’m excited to join HR Green and continue my career in the water and wastewater industry. I bring both the successes and lessons learned from my previous firm and the broader industry, and I look forward to being a strong contributor to HR Green’s water team.”
Kevin earned a B.S. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
