HR Green is pleased to announce that Bud Sherman has joined the firm as a Senior Project Manager for Missouri Transportation.
Bud brings more than 30 years of leadership experience spanning government, industry, development, engineering consulting, and construction management. Known for a proactive, results-driven approach, he has successfully guided complex design-build projects from initial concept through design, construction, and commissioning.
His expertise combines technical knowledge with strategic problem-solving, helping clients navigate challenges, improve efficiencies, and achieve project goals. He is recognized for building collaborative teams, fostering strong stakeholder relationships, and aligning diverse interests to move projects forward successfully.
As a Senior Project Manager for Missouri Transportation, Bud will lead HR Green’s transportation efforts across Missouri, Oklahoma, and Arkansas, guiding regional growth and expanding client partnerships. With experience in both government and consulting, he brings a broad perspective to infrastructure planning and delivery. He will focus on building trusted relationships and helping clients achieve successful project outcomes.

Bud Sherman earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Missouri–Columbia, as well as a Master of Science in Project Management from Missouri State University. He is a Registered Professional Engineer (PE), Registered Geologist (RG), LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP), and Project Management Institute (PMI) certified professional.
