The City of Sarasota has selected HR Green as one of five firms qualified to provide professional engineering services under a continuing services contract.
Under this contract, HR Green will be eligible to assist the City on a wide range of utilities and public works efforts, including projects with construction values up to $7.5 million. This flexible task-order structure enables Sarasota to rapidly engage qualified teams as needs arise, helping maintain service levels and advance capital improvement priorities.
The selection reflects a nearly 30-year partnership between Sarasota and HR Green staff. With deep familiarity with the City’s systems, permitting processes, and long-range improvement goals, HR Green is well positioned to continue delivering thoughtful, effective infrastructure solutions.

Under the continuing services agreement, the City may request HR Green’s support for:
- Streets, sidewalks, and drainage improvements
- Potable water, wastewater, and reclaimed water facilities
- Lift stations, pump stations, and related infrastructure
- Parks, recreational amenities, and irrigation systems
- Funding strategy and coordination with state and federal programs
- Construction oversight and field services
For HR Green, the contract underscores a long track record of supporting Sarasota’s infrastructure goals. For the City, it provides reliable access to experienced professionals prepared to tackle assignments ranging from small upgrades to multi-million-dollar construction efforts.
