Lead Broadband Architect, John Monday, Joins HR Green

HR Green, Inc. (HR Green) is pleased to announce that John Monday has joined the firm as a Senior Project Manager in the Colorado region. He brings over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, and is responsible for leading the technical delivery of fiber and broadband services for the company’s clients.

“John will be a great technical asset to our growing Fiber and Broadband Services team,” said Edward Barrett, Director Broadband Services. “John successfully designed and deployed one of the pre-eminent public broadband programs in Colorado, and his experience will help our clients navigate the technical challenges even more effectively.”

In this role, John will direct the firm’s technical staff to help Planning, Study and Design projects meet the firm’s quality standards. As the lead architect, he will work directly with clients to assess financial costs and feasibility, while driving approved projects through the Design and Build phases and into operations mode.

Prior to joining HR Green, John was the VP of Broadband Services and Operations for Delta-Montrose Electric Association / Elevate Fiber, where he directed all activities of the fiber-to-the-premise subsidiary and implemented its fiber-to-the-home project. This included determining objectives and establishing operating procedures to create and maintain financial soundness and profitability while ensuring optimum service to subscribers.

John graduated from Roosevelt University in Chicago with a B.S. in E.E.T. and holds multiple career telecom industry certifications including Cisco certified voice professional (CCVP/CCNP-Voice) and Nortel certified technology expert (NCTE). He served in the US Air Force and Wisconsin Air National Guard from 1991 to 2000.
