HR Green Selected to Provide Professional Engineering Services for the Jungermann Road – Boone Hills Drive Intersection Improvements
HR Green was selected by the City of St. Peters, Missouri to prepare construction plans and specifications to upgrade the intersection geometrics and install new traffic signals at the intersection of Jungermann Road and Boone Hills Drive. Jungermann Road is a very important transportation corridor for the City of St. Peters, Missouri. Ongoing flood mitigation strategies to replace and upsize multiple culverts along Jungermann Road have triggered the need for intersection improvements at locations near the Spencer Creek watershed. This intersection improvement project will consist of new pavement, storm drainage features, traffic signalization, and upgrading current pedestrian facilities to meet ADA requirements.
“St. Peters has been a terrific client to work with over the years, and we are excited for another opportunity to partner with the City to address their stormwater and transportation needs,” said Project Manager Dan Shane. “This project will allow HR Green to showcase our roadway and traffic signalization design strengths, and integrate these components of design with challenging stormwater management solutions”.
Due to the anticipated complexity of coordinating roadway and culvert design elements for this project, HR Green is partnering with Geosyntec Consultants as a professional partner for this project, to provide seamless integration between the roadway and storm drainage/culvert design elements. As the lead consultant, HR Green is responsible for performing topographic and right-of-way surveying, and preparation of preliminary, right-of-way and final design plans for the intersection reconstruction, as well as traffic signal upgrades, and storm drainage/culvert improvements.
