Stacy Woodson Elected to the Board of Directors of the National Association of Environmental Professionals
HR Green’s Stacy Woodson, P.E. has been elected to the Board of Directors of the National Association of Environmental Professionals (NAEP). She will be installed in her new position in April in time for the NAEP 2016 Annual Conference, April 11-14, 2016 in Chicago, Illinois.
“We at HR Green could not be more proud of Stacy and this well-deserved honor,” said Jason Poppen, Transportation President. “Her expertise, dedication and willingness to contribute her time to such a worthwhile organization is a great example of our firm’s involvement in the greater transportation planning community.”
Stacy is a Senior Project Manager at HR Green and provides experienced leadership to a group of environmental professionals at the firm. Her background includes environmental impact analysis, public involvement, agency coordination, traffic noise studies, corridor studies, feasibility studies, and environmental compliance. Stacy has extensive knowledge of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process, including Environmental Impact Statements and Environmental Assessments. In addition to the NAEP she is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Society of Women Engineers.
The NAEP is the multi-disciplinary association for professionals dedicated to the advancement of the environmental professions. The group was formed following the passage of National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA).
