HR Green Offers Tree Survey Service in Illinois

Hr Green, Inc.

HR Green is pleased to announce that it can now provide tree surveys for clients in the Chicago/Illinois region. Shawn Davis who recently attained his International Society of Arboriculture – Certified Arborist Certification will perform the surveys.

“When considering the feasibility of development on a piece of land, it is important to establish a value of the existing conditions. Few things bring more value to a site aesthetically, environmentally, and functionally than trees,” said Davis. “Tree surveys will allow our clients to make informed decisions on the value of the existing trees on their site and will provide guidance on how to preserve or replicate that same value or more on their newly developed land.”

Davis, a landscape architect in HR Green’s Land Development Business line, has worked on numerous commercial projects including Chik-Fil-A and American Automobile Association developments in Illinois, Iowa and Minnesota; Conceptual park design for Goodings Grover Park in Homer Glen, Illinois; planting design for the future McHenry, Illinois Recreation Center and marketing illustrations for several internal and external clients. He has a wide range of project experience in preparing construction documents, commercial planting design, urban planning, parks and recreational design, street scape design, college campus theming, and computer illustrations/models.

Certified Arborists are individuals who have achieved a level of knowledge in the art and science of tree care through experience and by passing a comprehensive examination developed by some of the nation’s leading experts on tree care. Certified Arborists must also continue their education to maintain their certification and adhere to a Code of Ethics. Therefore, they are more likely to be up to date on the latest techniques in arboriculture.
