he American Council of Engineering Companies of Minnesota (ACEC/MN) has awarded the 2015 Engineering Excellence Honor Award to Washington County Public Works and HR Green for CSAH 19 (Woodbury Drive) Safety and Mobility.
On Oct. 7, the City of Columbia’s City Council approved awarding a contract to HR Green for the design of improvements to the intersection of Stadium Boulevard and Old Highway 63. The intersection currently does not have marked crosswalks or pedestrian signals.

This ARRA funded project included the development of final design plans for pedestrian facilities along five miles of urban arterial roadway. The improvements included two routes in St. Louis County for MoDOT’s St. Louis Metro District: Route 67 (Lindbergh Blvd.) and Route AC (New Halls Ferry Road). The first order of work for HR Green was to complete a comprehensive accessibility audit of each corridor by walking each route.
