HR Green Inc. is pleased to announce it has been selected to provide Phase I engineering and environmental studies for a proposed IL Route 137 Bike Path that will connect the Des Plaines River Trail at Independence Grove Forest Preserve to the Robert McClory Bike Path in North Chicago.
HR Green and Inter-fluve examined hydrology, hydraulics, geomorphology and existing infrastructure at what is now Minnehaha Creek Preserve in St. Louis Park, MN. The team developed concept designs for restoring a sinuous stream channel, improving wetland and floodplain function, improving site recreation, trail connectivity and integrating stormwater management Best Management Practices.

HR Green employees in St. Paul have been proud to volunteer to help with native plantings at Trout Brook Sanctuary in St. Paul, a 42-acre park, created from a brownfield rail yard near downtown St. Paul, features 3000-feet of restored stream channel embedded in a restored habitat area that HR Green designed.
