Chris Jorgensen of HR Green Named Associate Member of the Year by the HBA of Colorado Springs
HR Green is proud to announce that Chris Jorgensen, Construction Manager, has been recognized as the Associate Member of the Year by the Housing & Building Association (HBA) of Colorado Springs. This award celebrates Chris’s years of dedication to the HBA and his outstanding contributions to the construction industry and the local community.
Chris helped resolve a critical infrastructure issue for El Paso County by advocating for the use of cement-treated subgrade roads—a solution that is cost-effective, environmentally friendly, and reduces wear and tear on existing road networks during construction.
He was also involved with the development of the Ingram Guest House at St. Francis Medical Center, a project supported by HBA Cares, the philanthropic arm of the HBA.
Chris currently serves on the HBA Board of Directors and Executive Committee as the Public Policy Advisor and plays a key role on the Public Policy Council as the chair. Chris is a graduate of the HBA’s Emerging Leaders Program, serving as a mentor and advocate for the next generation of industry professionals.
The HBA of Colorado Springs promotes policies that allow for the production of safe and attainable housing and enhances the environment for the housing and building industry in El Paso County, Colorado.
