HR Green has supported renewable energy across the country with numerous projects for the beneficial use of methane gas. Solid waste landfills are the largest human-generated source of methane emissions. HR Green has developed over 30 projects in more than 19 states for the beneficial reuse of landfill gas. HR Green is an active project network member of Global Methane Initiative and Landfill Methane Outreach Program industry partner.
