Broadband: The Great Enabler for Disruptive Technologies!
The need for ubiquitous fiber and wireless infrastructure is at the precipice. Technology innovation will not pause while we continue to struggle with connecting all of our communities. If we don’t act soon, will our rural communities get left behind to a point where we begin to see an acceleration of urbanization and permanent decline in rural parts of our country? This year’s conference will explore:
1. The Impact of Emerging Technologies
2. Why Master Planning is Paramount to Long-term Success
3. Unique Funding Alternatives
4. Policy and Legislative Considerations
5. 5G/Small Cell
7. Economic Development
8. Impacts of RDOF and CARES Act
1. Community Development

BEST PRACTICES OF SMALL CELL IN THE RIGHTS OF WAY
Presented by HR Green Management Analyst for the Fiber and Broadband Services, Irena Stevens, and HR Green Municipal Services Manager, Ken Price.
Description: Many cities in the country and in Colorado have been prompted to develop small cell wireless permitting processes. In the last year, as required by the Order, many cities have had to draft and adopt aesthetic design guidelines to regulate the look and placement of small cells. Our panel of experts have been collecting and comparing these guidelines and will share their analysis. They will also discuss other administrative, regulatory, and cooperative best practices.
