Frank Urbina, Licensed Architect / Chief Building Official-Midwest, has recently been qualified to perform plan reviews and inspections by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).Plan Reviews and Building Inspections for new schools, school additions and school alterations are not like other projects where building plans are submitted to a municipality for review and where those building inspections would typically be performed by the municipality.
HR Green has been named an ACEC-IA award winner for work performed for the Iowa Great Lakes Sanitary District (IGLSD) on the Van Steenburg Estates Sanitary Sewer Relocation. HR Green completed preliminary study, final design, and construction phase services for this project. The Van Steenburg Estates sanitary sewer serves 24 residential properties.

The ribbon cutting for the Anderson Road bridge in Elburn, IL was held this week. The project provides a key north-south transportation link for vehicular access to the Metra commuter station and relieve congestion along Illinois Route 47 by providing a grade separation option over the railroad tracks.

Minnesota Brownfields has awarded the City of St. Paul Department of Parks & Recreation its 2015 Community Impact Award for the Trout Brook Nature Sanctuary. The Capitol Region Watershed District (CRWD) and City of St. Paul selected the team of HR Green and Inter-Fluve to conduct a feasibility study, develop concept plans and final design, complete three construction bid packages and provide construction oversight for the Trout Brook Nature Sanctuary and Regional Trail.
