As part of HR Green’s ongoing commitment to helping communities leverage Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) funding for brownfields assessments and cleanup, the company announced today that it has helped the city of Waterloo, IA secure two more EPA grants totaling $400,000. Since 2000, HR Green’s efforts have secured for the city a total of $2.65 million in grants and loans.
Better drinking water will flow to customers of the Amana Society Service Company, provider of water and electricity in and around the Amana Colonies. The company will be getting a low interest loan from the State Revolving Fund to address a number of drinking water issues.

HR Green has been chosen to serve as Program/Project Manager for the 2016-2017 Will County Division of Transportation (WCDOT) Build Will Phase II Highway Construction Program. This will be the eighth year HR Green has served in this role.

Since 2003, DiscoverE has presented this award to honor the work of up-and-coming engineers who are making their mark on their industry. This award is recognized as a top honor for young engineers by their peers in the engineering community.
HR Green has been chosen by the City of Nevada, Iowa to complete the planning, design, and bidding of four projects in its 2017 Capital Improvements Plan (CIP). The projects include street reconstruction, which also includes water main, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer reconstruction improvements; an asphalt resurfacing over cracked and seated PCC pavement project; a lift station study and design project; and the installation of storm collector lines at various locations in the City.
