HR Green Announces Angela New as a Lead Engineer for the Water Resources Group
HR Green is pleased to announce that Angela New, PE, has joined the firm as a Lead Engineer for the Water Resources group in the Houston, Texas office.
Angela brings over 11 years of experience as a water resources engineer, overseeing preliminary engineering studies, hydraulic and hydrologic models, floodplain mapping, drainage impact studies, and LOMR/CLOMR documentation.
In addition, Angela assisted in developing groundwater models for drawdown analyses, calculating dewatering volumes for construction, performing water budget calculations, and preparing a county water supply plan, including population forecasts. As an NSF Fellow in Computational Fluid Dynamics, Angela specialized in sedimentation and river modeling while also teaching hydraulics.
In her new role at HR Green, Angela will lead the hydrology and hydraulic modeling efforts for our clients in the public works, land and site development, and transportation sectors in the Houston region. Her experience in the Houston region will enhance the capabilities of the existing team.

Angela earned her Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering – Water Resources and her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, both from the University of Florida. She is a member of TFMA.
