HR Green’s Jason Dohrmann Wins Leader of the Year Award
HR Green’s Regional Director of Transportation, Jason Dohrmann, has been named Private Sector Public Works Leader of the Year by the Missouri Chapter of the American Public Works Association (APWA). This award is the culmination of many years of service to the organization on the local, state and federal levels. He has served as the Community Outreach Chairman at the local level and the planning committee for the triannual Mid America Conference and Exposition (MidAmX) at the state level, and was appointed to two terms on the Public Works Projects of the Year Awards Committee at the national level.
As Regional Director of Transportation for HR Green, Dohrmann leads the transportation business line for HR Green in Missouri and is also the site leader of the St. Louis office. Dohrmann has guided clients through all phases of planning, design, and construction for infrastructure projects.
His work has involved the project management and execution of various projects throughout the St. Louis region, most of which have had local, state or federal oversight and funding.
“I am humbled and honored to be recognized by peers for the profession that I love. I have met so many people through the organization that have become friends first and foremost, and that for me is the best part. This organization, unlike others, is about building relationships that eventually foster successful projects because of the trust built at the onset of the projects,” said Dohrmann.
Dohrmann is also very active in the engineering community, holding various local and state offices in the American Public Works Association, the American Council of Engineering Companies – Missouri (ACEC-MO), the Engineer’s Club of St. Louis, and the Missouri Society of Professional Engineers.
