New City Hall
Marion, Iowa

Marion, Iowa's new city hall provides a centralized location for the City Administration, City Clerk and Treasurer, Water Department, City Engineer, Planning and Housing Department and the Public Works office, as well as providing lease space that will be occupied by the Marion Chamber of Commerce when the building is complete. The Council Chamber and a series of meeting rooms are arranged to accommodate public use as well as staff convenience. The building will be heated and cooled using a geo-thermal heat pump system that employs a series of closed-loop wells located in the City Hall’s parking lot.
