The City of Burlington had been propositioned by a major industry in the mid-2000s but they were not able to offer the sewer treatment capacity desired of the industry. Losing the potential development opportunity resulted in the City's decision to move forward with a major upgrade to their Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) to prepare for future economic development opportunities.

HR Green is leading the effort to transform the major arterial streets in the City of Richfield, MN. The goal of this effort is to establish a framework for improving all of the city's major modes of transportation -- pedestrian, vehicular, bicycle and mass transit.

Before the start of any project, HR Green construction professionals verify that the design will fit the existing field conditions. In some cases, as such with making sidewalks ADA compliant, the application of design standards is the responsibility of the construction engineer.

This ARRA funded project included the development of final design plans for pedestrian facilities along five miles of urban arterial roadway. The improvements included two routes in St. Louis County for MoDOT’s St. Louis Metro District: Route 67 (Lindbergh Blvd.) and Route AC (New Halls Ferry Road). The first order of work for HR Green was to complete a comprehensive accessibility audit of each corridor by walking each route.
